Lakenheath and back - 4th October 2014

The lure of a dozen USMC Hornets was too strong to ignore so after a 12 hour night shift and a 2 hour journey home to meet Colin at the station it was off we go!

Then to the main event. We knew the first six had arrived, thanks Neal, and discovered they were
on the not easy to see visitors ramp. At least they were outside. Off to The Warren and some 
exploring where, with a bit of work, all were seen.

Back to the 'heath for about 1400L and the wait for the second batch which eventually arrived at 1840L. Unfortunately it was just too dark for any decent photos. The Herc was due about 2000 but didn't arrive until 2100...still, nothing else to do!
