No Pies for Papa 18th - 22nd September 2015 Day 1

A four day trip for Colin, John and Darren to mid Europe. Spanning four countries in four days. We headed out from Luton around midday and winged our way over to Stansted via a few small dromes. From here we flew with Ryanair on EI-EKG to Bratislava, Slovakia on the evening flight.

First stop of course was the standard nip round the local!

Then it was a leisurely drive over to Hunsdon. Very friendly here and we were allowed to roam freely around.

We were parking in Takeley on someones driveway! At a very reasonable £28 for five days. So a quick look into the farm for some Rotorway action. Sadly it was all closed up but a few were gleaned from the windows etc...

The park on my drive guy kindly gave us a lift to the terminal, where an overpriced Burger King was on the menu.
Only a few noted at Stanny, with a couple of nice Government liners.

FR2318 took us to BTS, arriving just after 11pm. Unfortunately all the car hire firms were shut down by then. So it was a cab driven by Slovakia's answer to Grant Mitchell to the hotel for the night.

Not the busiest of airports, we noted a few, but as we had to return in the morning for our car we agreed to explore further then.

Not an overly great day, but it was all about getting in position for a full first day in Slovakia.
