Day two started with a couple of glider fields planned. Not the best time to do them but you can't always be there at the optimum times. Needless to say both Mariazell and Lanzen-Turnau were all locked up and squinnyproof. A couple to do next time we are in the area.

We were less than a mile away from the next port of call when three Blackhawks lifted off and departed at 0930. Plenty of locals in the small car park to see the helis depart but nobody about at the drome! One Cessna graced the ramp and that was a G-

Trieben seemed more of a maintenance place. All shut up nobody about. One Cessna outside and a couple of glider codes squinnied. A Swiss Bonanza overflew whilst we were here.

Aigen im Ennstal AB was the next stop. If there was anything out you'd easily see it. There wasn't.

The lure of a few MiGs was too much to resist so off we went to the Museum Fahrzeug-Technik-Luftfahrt at Bad Ischl. A few of the inmates here have either moved on or are well hidden amongst the trees in an area not open to the public.

Tonights hotel was at a ski resort up in the mountains. Very scenic. The restaurant was still open so we had some local food from the buffet washed down with a beer or two.
