Landivisau to Le Bourget 13th - 19th June 2017 - Day 2

After a well earned sleep it was up early for the 25 minute drive to Landivisiau. Arriving at the designated car park it was time to join the queue for security checks etc...

This took around 45 minutes as we endured a full security check from a pat down to sniffer dogs! Extreme you may think, but I can't say I blame the French for being cautious of late.

Finally we were on the coach for a short drive to the base.

Happy with our haul here we were ready to leave, however the coaches wouldn't be running till 5pm. Luckily there was a small van service to run people out to the main gate where taxi's were available.

On the way back to our hotel in Brest, we stopped at several locations to try and see the Etendards which are preserved within the base. Alas we had no luck due to poor sun positioning. Early morning maybe best to see these.
