NTM19 Part One 15th - 19th May 2019

A trip over for the Tiger Meet at Mont de Marsan was extended to include another overdue Toulouse visit. EBACE was also around the same time so why not add that as well? Due to other commitments it was just LB and Nay again.

An early afternoon flight saw us board G-EZTD on the EZY2033 to BOD.


After a rather lengthy delay waiting for the hire car we were finally off. LB didn't seem too impressed when they bought a Twingo out..

As BOD would be our base for a few days we did a full circuit and found all the nooks and crannies we'd need.

We did a circuit of Cognac first to find the Mirages then parked up for a few hours, with

Another day dawned and it was still raining. Oh well, time to head North.

Upon arrival at the Musee des Traditions de l'Aeronautique Navale it appeared closed. We met some Dutch colleagues outside who'd booked their tour but were still waiting. Luckily one of them spoke enough French and eventually after a few calls back and forth the lady on site let us all in. The restoration hangar was not accessible though.

The gates at the mil side were closed so no chance of seeing many gate guards. 19 Pumas were counted, a row of 10 and a row of 9. The hangar on the civil side was open. The restaurant was open and very busy making it hard to read from the stairs without drawing attention. Only one full code read as listed.
