CVN-75 USS Harry S. Truman 6-10-18

It's been over a year since the last carrier visit, so Nay and LB were keen to get down and see it. After heading up to Lakenheath (log on follies) for some MO departures and some missing F-18's, we took the 3 hour drive down to Stokes Bay.

Todays visitor, the USS Harry S. Truman, CVN-75.

Some familiar faces kept us company through the day, Pogo along with Mole for the ride, plus Vincelander and Delhi Dave made an appearance.

As per previous reports, white was confirmed by us, blue is reported on deck but not read by us, and yellow reported below deck, red for ashore at Lakenheath.

Apologies for the bad quality of the Hornet pics. But to be fair it was raining and they are from my phone looking through a telescope! Time for a bigger lens methinks ;-)

Credit to the many contributors on Fighter Control for helping to tie up serials/codes etc...
Keep up the good work guys, your info is invaluable!

DDG99 USS Farragut was in dock at Portsmouth, a look in as it was getting dark found both hangars closed and nothing on deck.

A successful day out, a few frames made and some good old banter, can't wait for the next one!
