Berlin to Poland - 23rd - 29th March 2016 Day 5

After yesterdays curtailed efforts at Pruszcz Gdanski we'd decided to have another bash this morning from the aeroclub side. True to form on this trip the GA area was gated but as it was thick fog nothing was visible in any case. Arnie time, we'll be back.

Onward to an art metal collection... We saw the five outside but the five in the tents will have to wait as it was still closed. You can't be everywhere between 9 and 5!

A couple of GA stops next. Rywald was all shut up, nothing seen. Linowiec was all shut up but looked squinnyable. However, the two guard dogs were loose, big and loud. Yep, we bottled out of that one. Blank.

We were now a bit cheesed off with the lack of GA but wait, is that a Cessna I see on the pan! Excited about one Cessna, you bet we were. Nobody about again but the glider hangar at Lisie Katy had a few gaps.

The next Lim has moved location but still in the same town on a new roundabout. 53.472351,18.770721 is the new location.

The new roads in this area saw us get on a motorway with very few exits. As a result we by-passed the GA drome at Watorowo and by the time we got off it wasn't worth going back.

Some time saved and we were now at Torun for two stops. A Mig outside the fire station.

A short drive down the road is the GA field Inowroclaw-Kujawski. Gated and deserted.

Another short drive to the Army barracks where the Mi-24 has been joined by a Mi-2. Bonus.

Then a drive back up to our hotel at Bydgoszcz and as we were passing the tech school here we had a look even though it was dark. Hard not to when you pass by a SU-22!
